I’m not sure if other countries have big shows in TV to collect money for Cancer studies, help for people in need and, and for example AIDS studies?

most national broadcasters do this; although the reputation of the BBC is fucked because it allowed the pedos to get into the hospitals childrens wards and every time it is on TV folk complain about any money going to “foreigners”

UK TV is full with documentaries about mlitary equipment and wars; there are entire channels devoted to this.

We also allow rich old men who still think they are fighting World War II to hoard various small aircraft and fly them in busy skies without regular medical checks on pilots and safety checks on the aircraft (which often lack modern radio and navigation equipment) – they quite regularly crash and kill as many folk (often their own friends and families as well as spectators at airshows) as the foreign terrorist groups everyone is paranoid about.

it is likely a UK based company sold Flyvevåbnet the aircrafts or at least some of the equipment inside (especially radars, encrypted radio and surveillance systems) – the UK tech industry has always specialised in military/defence stuff and surveillance equipment – the non lethal stuff is also used by BBC (who have always been good friends of the RAF, their boffins are even sometimes allowed to transmit on military frequencies) for their investigative shows and nature films.

The BBC is handing out small embedded computers with full Bluetooth capability to school children – the smarter kids are almost certain to eventually end up using them to hack and spy on their classmates mobile phones…
