was a sweet rave, shame my lappy was nicked the other week otherwise i could have made a bigger contribution to the visuals. i also passed out at around 5 like a lamer, which was a shame cos it was one of the best ive been to in a while. not quite as good as last years, but that is quite a benchmark. respect to the hardworking crew who made it happen in the face of the first site getting pigged.

glad to hear you had a good time there…. I was tempted to go at one point but I have been quite ill recently so decided I needed some rest otherwise I would make myself worse

it is a shame that the dci got involved, but it could be thats just for the press, and anyway, he seems pretty blase about it.

i knew some khead would fall in the river. it was inevitable. still, the site was beautiful, the reflections off the river were superb.

I more suspect the DCI got involved as a formality because of the river incident and the level of Emergency Service resources required to deal with it –

although people fairly often fall (or are pushed into) rivers and canals at London raves they usually get out without requiring all 3 services to attend to them – or they present to a hospital Emergency Dept as “walking wounded” where the NHS don’t always record the connection with the rave (the patient is under no obligation to tell them, and the NHS are under no obligation to tell the cops).

Normally its a uniform sargeant or a DS in extreme circumstances who speaks to press about raves – or even a local bobby! All can speak to the media if authorised..

i dont spose you could burn us a dvd of last years event, gl? i’ll email you my addy or summat if you’re up frit. ill send you a vj mix or two for your veiwing pleasure in return.

I haven’t forgotten about this – its just been so busy with work I’ve not had time to get the correct equipment together (a lot of my kit is still in Reading as well). I may get a DVD-recorder soon which would make things a lot easier..
