What do you think is causing it? Do you listen to music on headphones/earphones a lot? As these can be REALLY bad for your ears. Tinnitus is not necessarily permanent when you first notice it, and it can be exaggerated by stress, alcohol and various other factors (I’ve had a few beers tonight and I can hear the blood pulsing through my head along with various high-pitched ringing noises which aren’t usually there), but if you ignore it then you run the risk of it damaging your hearing.
