2 b 3 soundsystem are looking for a permanant burger van to operate at there partys. Me and the crew have been talking for a while and been saying what happend to these vans that use to come to partys years ago they just seemed to fade out.

So if any 1 knows any 1 thats willing to travel to Nothamptonshire area ( ROUGHLY of course ) for free party munch van

its been discussed a number of times on various boards..

I think the reason they no longer come is that the food safety regs have been tightened up loads…. and old bill have authority to request trading standards checks on vehicles which sell food.

if the cops see a burger van at a rave they will take its number and next time the van is back on its home grounds it could get checked out by the council for all the hygiene/safety regs (no doubt cops will have said “they attend illegal raves, I bet they are dodgy) – it will probably also checked out by cops in case they were selling drugs as well (its happened before)

also round here at least not that many people actually want to eat hot greasy food during or after a rave, you lot must have cast iron stomachs…

and raves are held fairly far away from other places so your potential customer base will only be from the rave. If they turn up later than the or on Sunday they may encounter roadblocks and searches…

so its a lot of extra business risk and extra fuel costs for little actual revenue… and remember they depend on their license to trade from the same councils that prosecute for unlicensed entertainments…

your best bet would someone who likes raves and burgers and runs such a business…. (I suppose that way you could eat loads and not put on so much weight… :biggreen:)

Yea, our BBQ has been sucseful and unsucseful. i personally dont think its gonna work unless its a 3 day party.

Aye the “Buchans burgers” plan a mate of mine had failed miserably an that was a 3 day party. Although the moral of that story could be dont take loads of acid an try an cook food.
