I cant imagine what you and the little boy are going through..

I know a little about tourette syndrom, but not enough..
      Dyspraxia..
I dont know what that is,well i probably do,but i dont know the danish word for it..I really need a dictionary..
ADHD i know more and more about, this thread have meant the world to me..I didnt know where else to turn,i dont know if you have read the whole thread..But these wonderful people hare have helped me a lot about understanding ADHD..And they have told their own stories..I respect that a lot..I’m getting so much from the people in this forum and ill never be able to repay them…
Havent words for how i feel..
      Write some more please..
How do you deal with it ?
What special needs do he have ?
How does he function towards other kids ?
How does he function in a family ?

      T

How do i deal with it sometimes very badly i hate to admit but i think the most important thing is that he gets treated exactly the same as the other 3 kids, as you may be able to imagine as he only visits us for weekends etc it his life does not allow him to have consistancey all the time.
i think his mum does a great good but underestimates him with how he feels or tends to tell him how he should be feeling and does’nt feel that he is able to but when he visits or stays with us he does not hesistate for one second to tell us how he is feeling, but nine out of ten its the other kids that suffer by getting screamed at kicked, punched repeately.

i’ll keep each post short as i sometimes find it scary seing an essay

That part i know very well..
His twinbrother also know exactly what buttons to push to get him go crazy..
I think that I in the beginning underestimated what he could or could not do..I have learned here, that he can be just as good as other kids, but you have to support him in the things he is good at..I think that him changing school will do a big difference..

I wish you all the best for the future 🙂

he is only just at his new school angel – he will probably settle down a bit once he gets used to the routine [they tend to fight the routine a lot at first ]

this is just getting to much..

It was his teachers who gave us the message..

They werent sure that this was the right place for him to be..

              Whats next ?

              institution ?

              what..

              Think shorty is right..things are fucked up:you_crazy :you_crazy :you_crazy

i think his teachers need a kick up the pants

they need to give him a few months to settle down not a few weeks :you_crazy:you_crazy:you_crazy

it probably leaves home schooling TBH as he is hardly needing an institution:crazy:

TBH I am not surprised; because people with this condition are often intelligent but also prepared to challenge authority and conforming to régimes..

We tried for home schooling and to be honest it was if they were setting up a new hurdle as soon as we had jumped the last one they set up.This went on for ages and shes in school now which seems just what they wanted.
