sounds good – promised to KC earlier in the year I’d help them out so I will be there…
this is definitely worth going to if you live in SE England…. went there for the first time last year and TBH had more fun than at a free party, it was virtually trouble-free and the total lack of worries about being busted/hassles made it a brilliant day out
but isn’t the date the 31st july?
its a fiver entry, guildford council insisted on this so they could keep track of numbers.
still thats nothing compared to what you are getting at this festival
cheers GL, i corrected the date
i’m sure there are other ways of checking the numbers, its just surrey authorities dont understand the word “free”. bunch of bastards. so for the first time this year, it will be elitest – no money no entry. how very guildford. having said that its well easy to jump the fence, its hardly topnotch security. also, there was a nasty fire after the last picnic in their holding warehouse and a LOT of stuff got burnt, so they prolly need the funds.
looking forward to it already, not least vjing for nicky b!
Top stuff mate!

hopefully see some of you there (will be helping out in the ItsY BitsY tent)
what a wicked little fest- was going so well until it rained, bloody english weather. still, everyone had a good time, and there was plenty to check out and do, the vj crew even had a jam with the bloke in the drum shop- they were selling guitarry type drums, benejali drums or summat, sounded phat. if anything, iwould say the fest needs more decor, the healing feild especially could do with a spruce up. i saw a geodome, went inside all tripping with a spliff anna beer, then realised when i was right inside i was on my own surrounded by mums and kids! how wrong did i feel.
it was fucking wicked- total mission tho. our lift brokedown last week, and i spent all week tryna replace it with no luck, so four vjs and all our tech came up on the train. once we got there, there was no table or screen or space for us, so we had to sort that, and then half way thru the day someone shut down our tech and we couldnt get it started again!
safe as fuck seeing general lighting there (check pms), you were a proper apparition at the end of the day, im suprised i didnt see you earlier! properly surreal. the 2cb i did was fucking potent, and knocked me for six.
i ended up gettting a lift off a mate who lives on a farm, who put us up in a van on the floor. was all good, tho, i slept like a log after all that stress! plus it was lush waking up and being surrounded by ducks and chickens and goats and horses, they were proper mellow. unlike the farm dogs. all 8 off them. climbing the van time.
hopefully see some of you there (will be helping out in the ItsY BitsY tent)
completely didnt see these posts or realise you were gonna be at itsy- blatantly would have come and found you sooner, if id been a bit more on the ball i would have chatted to tecKC and he prolly would have pointed you out. i’m gutted.
