Saturday and Sunday are supposed to be OK for weather in both SE England and the East. it will piss down on Monday apparently.
Keep checking the Met office site as that actually gets updated every hour.
Don’t trust the BBC telly weather as the BBC Weather Centre had loads of budget cuts and they only update the weather every 4 hours and repeat the outdated weather forecast which is why folk don’t trust the weather forecasts.
A chap at the BBC tipped me off about this years ago when I was getting the circuit boards of a big video mixer replaced for them – they didn’t have any spares and he said “that needs to be done today and someone is gonna drive up from West London to Reading and pick it up (they did), or there will be no weather forecast this evening!! (I was amazed they only had the one mixer, BBC used to buy two or three of everything)
