Technically it’s classified as an atypical opiod. They aren’t very good, codiene type of thing. It’s possible to become addicted to any opiod, obviously, but you would have to be pretty hard up for drugs to do enough for long enough to get addicted to tramadol. But if you do you will end up with withdrawls not just from an opiod but from the anti-depressant affects. One other thing that needs mentioning is this can cause seizures at high doses. I was under the impression codiene could be bought without a prescription in the UK. If so it would be a better choice.
On the street they go for 50 cents to a dollar (US) each. Not much market for them except for preventing withdrawls from stronger drugs.
