many of the “better” rigs all got taken at the Welsh party earlier in april. They haven’t been given back yet.
OK you’ve been raving for 6 years but since 2004 there has been a massive crackdown on parties in the South East and London – everything is being monitored down to web forums (you can’t even mention rig names on them nowadays) and even crew peoples movements.
This isn’t tinfoil helmet paranoia but reality. people are getting nicked, some have got ASBOs, rigs are being seized more often. If you look at the historical posts on this site you will see when this all happened.
Because of this there are less people willing to risk taking a rig out in the South East, less parties happening and those that do happen have smaller rigs.
Also people are initially less willing to give out partylines to people who just make one or two posts to a forum without saying anything about themselves, what music they like, what sort of parties they’ve been to.
its becoming a case of getting to know people and getting them to trust you, and parties becoming once again smaller affairs where people know one another (not necessarily a bad things)
