BTW Powie – have a friendly chat with your mate; although I can see why he wanted to park the van close to the action so people could chill out in it he clearly pissed off a lot of people and then reacted badly when asked reasonably to move..
I’m not even judging him for driving around unclicensed because back in the day my mates used to do all that shizzle to get to raves (which is one reason why TVP give you younger lot so much hassle as all of this has been going on a whole generation now!!)
but people have the right to enter and leave raves when they want, also there can be emergency situations or extra bits need to be added to the rig so people need access at all time;
I know people get a bit sketchy/stressed on comedown time but there’s no need for all the anger I see sometimes at a rave (fair play to the others for not escalating the situation) and there’s no place for road rage in a party!
the crew who did that rave are old friends of mine who have had a lot of fun but also been through absolute hell to keep the party going… ravers should always try to make things a bit easier for the people who take the risks to put on the party…
