ne1 from new EU states (ex warsaw pact countries like PL, CZ, SI, SK etc) got any thoughts on how the scene will be treated in your countries after May 1st?
although it means every1 is supposed 2 be able 2 travel freely I’ve got a bit of concern about the way things have developed
all the rich EU nations like UK, DE, FR are complaining about “potential floods of immigrants / drugs / crime”
I fear a backlash against British & other ravers who attend the teknivals from the local police who may counterclaim – “these brits are encouraging all the drugs & illegal events” (and we DO cane the most out of all EU member states!)
there;s also the issue that as EU states the new countries will be expected 2 clamp down more on drugs etc (I get the impression that things are a bit more lenient in the east european states with regard 2 drugs & there is a lot being made as the Soviet education system trained loads of chemists & scientists who are now unemployed!)
if u are based in an EU accession country what do u think? have u heard nething “on the grapevine”?
