Hey everyone :horay:

I’ve just discovered and joined this site and can already see many long and dangerous hours being lost in here…oh dear! I look forward to more…

Anyway, the reason I came across this is I am seeking a 1200 capacity warehouse or other unusual space for a party in London and finding it really difficult and am wondering if anyone can help point me in the right direction? 💡

I realise that a lot of venue locations are based on secret and sensitive information but I am quite happy to look at a licensed venue that you might have used or been to.

I run a sort of Robin Hood operation – stealing money from the rich doing corporate parties with our sound system and production equipment and putting what we make into underground free parties. It’s fun and it works and we’re just about scraping by with it! If you PM me I’d be more than happy to tell you more about what we do….

In the meantime, if anyone would be willing and able to share some information with me about venues, I’d be incredibly grateful!

Yeah we have a lot of fun with it, like the time we went out raving all weekend and then donned our pinstripes for a meeting in the House of Commons..it was like, if only they knew!!!! So yeah, it’s effective. I’ll send you a PM to the website, though that’s mainly the corporate cloak. The rest is word-of-mouth. All the best…

a bit of exploration could turn something up

personally, if I’d gone to the trouble of finding a site suitable for a party, I wouldn’t just give it up to all and sundry

I have been exploring full time for a couple of weeks now…believe me, many many searches and lines of enquiry.

I am already well aware that some promoters would like their venues to be kept secret which is why I asked for any licensed non-underground venues.

It’s also slightly insulting to be labelled ‘all and sundry.’ We throw our parties for free and they are open to all like-minded people. We are trying to create some positive energy here and share it and we bust our asses and our finances doing so, so I was appealing to other people who also believe in the concept of sharing. Territorial behaviour and possessiveness has no place in my world and I was willing to enter into a 2-way dialogue to anyone that might be able to help and do favours in return.

Please don’t make assumptions that we’re just out to take! 😉

Oh Ok globalloon, thanks! I mean, we’re prepared to pay a hire fee so I was just seeing if anyone knew of any business.

Jayney, yeah totally! I remember going of warehouse parties when I was younger but I reckon they’ve all been turned into luxury apartments now. All of them!! London sucks quite a lot!

Cheers anyway, it was worth a try. I’ve got a few back-up plans I’ll turn to then….
