I’ll keep this short and sweet.
Over Christmas I’ve suffered a lot of emotional stress – over something that I cannot talk about to people close to home (I wont elaborate on why)
Anyway , its caused me sleepless night, I have been crying quite a bit and thinking about this ‘thing’ has made it near impossible to concentrate during the day and relax at night. SO I purchased some benzos.
I have been taking then before bed so that I can conk out, so that I don’t stay awake with my mind on overload. It’s done that and I can actually get to sleep now. The only problem, is that now I cannot sleep without it.
Two nights ago I tried to get to sleep without benzos, and laid in bed tired and awake with my eyes closed for a good three hours. I got up and took some benzos in order to get to sleep. Last night I took ‘verelium’ (natural sleeping tablet) and they did fuck all, again I just got some benzos out and took them.
I’ve also had a blocked nose and terrible headache the last few weeks. When I lay in bed before having my benzos my brain feels ‘wobbly’ and my eyes hurt.
Is this addiction? Should I be worried?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Hey there.
Doesn’t sound like addiction to me. Had you got into a routine of taking them each night to sleep though? If this is the case then it is perhaps your body has become a little reliant on them, especially if you’re still stuck in that tricky situation without them.
Have you tried lowering the dose? Maybe take half of one instead a a full one and see if you can sleep, then gradually reduce that to a quarter maybe.
Assuming you have what I think you have and haven’t got any more, I certainly woulkdn’t have thought you had enough there anyway to form a physical addiction. The hurting eyes and headaches are highly iunlikely to be being caused by the benzos, more likely stress symptoms.
Thanks Psy.
They’re not having any detrimental effects. I take them to sleep and sleep.
When I tried not taking them before bed I was getting weird sensations I the evening. Feeling lightheaded and woozy. When I closed my eyes to try and sleep it was just incorrigible.
I take 2mg eti, or sometimes dap some powder which could be 2mg – 4mg.

I know that benzos made me a surprise the first time i didn’t go taking them for some days by my drugery and felt i was addicted to them. I smoke some Marijuana now always before sleeping, works well with me and could stop taking TRANXILIUMS cuz i began to take too many each day, but i think if u are a heavy smoker already, it won’t work like with me. But if u didn’t take them very long, it will pass after a while without anaything
Try a taper, get melatonin from ebay, that’s a good sleep aid imo. Use nytol as they ko me 10x melatonin. just get out of the habit of taking benzos for a bit. You probably have acute addiction but I doubt you’ll get withdrawals just side effect of unable to sleep.
Sorry to hear you aren’t feeling so great Azerbaijan and hope you get some relief soon. If things are bad and they are helping tbh to me your use doesn’t sound that excessive and maybe a few weeks if needed isn’t something that needs to be at the top of the worry list 🙂
Thanks guys.
Yes it does seem like acute addiction, I will try and ween myself off and get some nitol I think.
I hope its nothing to worry about.
xxxx
You know these things are actually sometimes used as actual medicines right?
Yes, BUT I’m reliant on it, which obviously isn’t good (and it costs money) 🙁
Starting to get headaches every evening now. Not sure if I’m just actually ill or its because I need my benzos?
I know this all sounds stupid – but I’m a noob when it comes to addiction. – no idea what symptoms of addiction feel like. x
They are nasty whiny achey piss you off symptoms like partners n children but actual physical internal discomfort nagging need and misery.
Melatonin is very good but you need to have a dark room and be in a calm state to get i to work. And just wait it out. Its not like benzos that force you to sleep.
A better way is to do it the hard way, but its only one that keeps you rollin in the long run;
– decide when its time to sleep and for how long.> then go to rest/sleep for the decided time., DO NOT let your thoughts nag you on how little you get of proper sleep, just relax and close your eyes and rest…and the sleep will come.
the reason i suggest this is years of experience of random sleep patterns due to my work. It works for me 100% and it should work for you.
Hugs sinner

whatever you have to say you can say here.
What else did you get Izbeck? I know you got a few 2 mg Etiz pellets, but you also mentioning dipping into some powder. I’m guessing that’ll be Xanax from a certain someone we both know? High potency benzos powders are never a good thing unless you’re highly experienced and have the correct equipment to accurately dose out measurements. Even then, like with me, you start to get greedy and overconfident about how much you can handle.
Aches can be a symptom of potential withdrawal, but also stress will do this, and this can be exaggerated by the tightening of muscles as the benzos (muscle relaxants) leave your system. For withdrawal concerns I’d look out for things like nausea (not the butterflies anxious type, but a real wanting to be sick), sweats and DT’s. Although in my opinion, given your new to the benzo scene and haven’t been abusing them. I wouldn’t worry too much about it
Aalso consider this; is your inability to sleep now worse than before you tried benxos or just back to where it was. It might seem worse because you were becoming used to sleeping again, but the reality maybe that the symptoms of stress and insomnia have not worsened, simply returned.
After what psyentist said, I never realized you had powder because I don’t pay attention but what was the question?
