me and my mates from Reading got there in this ropey Ford Fiesta. It was actually abandoned on the street but a mate of ours got it going with some bits from a scrapyard – OK tax, MOT a bit hookey but those were the days when traffic cops weren’t as clued up (and anyway, who cares if a scrap car is stolen?

Drove my old mini all the way in (looked tatty but was scary with the old
MG1275 lump) the missus rekonned I’s got it stuck but it clawed its way back out !! Went to a few parties there and always came out looking like an umpa lumpa (bright orange)…dem was the days…etc etc
