1st Anniversary @ Medicine & our LAST PARTY!

Well ………. it has to be said that we’ve sincerely enjoyed running the last year of successful Gutterfunk parties at Medicine in Shoreditch.
During this time we have treated you to some great guests from America, Europe and of course the UK. Guests including Jon Marsh, Demarkus Lewis, Chris Duckenfield, Inland Knights, Asad Rizvi, Rob Mello, Spettro, Rhythm Plate, Harold Heath, Big Hair, Bionic Bump Band, Stefan Goldmann and more.
This party is something of a landmark as we’ve been at the venue exactly one year to the day and also because this party will be our LAST party for a while ……… yes you’ve read this correctly ……. this is our last party at Medicine and anywhere else for a while, so make sure you get down to this one!
Seeing as it is our last party, we’ve taken the trouble to book an extra special guest for you and a firm favourite of ours, namely DJ / Producer Chris Carrier from Paris (Robsoul / Detour / Logic Box).
Chris has really made his mark on the house scene and has defined his own sound amongst the many house music producers of today. He is one of the main producers of underground house music, producing many quality EP’s and remix work for such respected labels as: Detour, Robsoul, Minority, Crack&Speed, Nightshift, Get Physical, Etroneek Funk and more. Chris is also one half of duo, Logic Box who were responsible for a string of quality tracks over the years and he also co-owns and runs Adult Only and more recently the Catwash label.
For over ten years Chris Carrier has been influenced by all different styles of music. Ranging from Hip Hop to Techno, House and Electro.
Chris Plays all around the world from USA to Spain, UK, Holland, Germany, Eastern Europe, and beyond. In France, he has been spotted on the decks at such groundbreaking clubs as Le Queen, or Rex Club. Chris remains an active figure of the underground sound today.
Your residents Foot Therapy and Jamie Coughlan will be in support and ensuring that this party will be closed out in formidable fashion.
As always entry is free before 9pm and £6 thereafter
