Hy….
I’m new in town and as some friends gave me this adress to find the “news” on parties around New Orleans, LA, I just figure out that is nothing actually going on.
Am I in the wrong area or I have to become “decent” person and forgett about free parties!?
BTW, did you hear about Buswacka, DJ C, Kinetik, Morales or somebody from Europe coming here soon?

from what i can gather from the U.S visitors on this site, there are little or none freeparties in america. havin said that, the place is massive and i know dick about it really. this site deals with mainly european and specifically U.K parties, although there is an international membership..

i recon if they are gonna be anywhere in the U.S, they’ll be in new orleans, so good luck. if you find any be sure to come back here and give us the lowdown.

I know there is some, as I’ve seen fliers while in Florida with the “free for the people” messages and infolines on them.

they are called “outlaw parties” out there…

they do happen, but when legal rave organisers are risking time in federal prison because of the anti-drugs act I would expect the details are kept very discreet.

there are some free festivals in the USA but the people who do them sometimes get grief from the US Forest Service (a bit like our Forestry Commission, but their rangers have guns!). It seems that the US Forest Service often also tries to sue the organisers quite often…

Many US promoters post their commercial events on here; and there seem to be a lot in FL. perhaps if you went along to one some people there may be able to tell you about the more underground events…..
