Once my dog ate a pill . lolol
Shit was soo funny she was buggin out running around my house, smelling everything, jumping on my friends . She was acting realy crazy .
please be careful – a while back a thread about “giving drugs to pets'” was on one board (maybe SJ, can’t remember) and someone gave a pill to their dog, which sadly had a heart attack and died some hours later.
The amount of MDMA in a pill which gives a human a buzz could easily kill a dog.
I read a newspaper report a few years back where the RCVS (royal college of veterinary surgeons) was expressing concern at the amount of reports they had of emergency admissions due to pets accidentally ingesting their owners supplies of recreational drugs.
I would suggest any pet owners keep their stashes out of reach in the same way that you would do so if there were babies or children in the house, and don’t even think of giving a pet any form of recreational drugs for a laugh (apart from catnip – once again cats get away with everything ! )
Thanks god nothing happened to my dog . LOL
On a lighter note the same report mentioned some pets presented for treatment multiple times for cannabis ingestion; mainly rodents and lagomorphs (rabbits).
In some cases they appeared to be actively seeking out their owners stashes, or any cannabis carelessly droppped on the floor.
Their owners were now asking the vets how to prevent their animals from doing this!
yeh…cats seem to do alright i had a bit of base on the table an sum skunk in the top of my grinder both of which cat ate….only about 1 line an a spliffs worth but he started buzzin big style an then attackin shit that wasnt there…i didnt tell anyone as it was my friends egyptian mau costing a fair bit an i felt really bad but alll was cool it survived…no harm done as far as i can see….an im a lot more careful now.
We used to have a cat which showed no interest in normal tobacco cigarettes, but which would go wild to get at the smoke from joints. He would jump up and climb on people heads, just to try and get to smell the smoke that they were holding out of his reach. Normal cigarettes, he’d just sleep on the floor.
glad to hear the cat was OK – though TBH its guardians should be discouraging it from jumping upon tables and stealing things anyway; or it will only get itself into worse trouble (the Mau is one of those breeds known for this sort of behaviour – they are very intelligent, but can become mischevious when bored).
A Siamese tomcat was recently referred to a special vet in Bristol, after he returned home with a number of random items, which included a wallet and a mobile phone – I kid you not! The items were returned to their rightful owners , and he ended up being put on behaviour therapy.
THATS PRETTY FUNNY ABOUT YOUR DOG. MY DOG BUSTER IS A UGE POT-HEAD. HE’S BEEN SMOKING FOS LIKE 4YRS SERIOUSLY!! I’M AFRAID TO GIVE HIM ACID OR SHROOMS OR STUFF LIKE THAT CUZ I’M AFRAID HE’LL CROAK. HE’S GETTING OLD AND I THINK THA POT’S STARTNG TO TAKE A TOLL ON THE POOR GUY. BUT I CAN’T STOP HIM. EVERYTIME WE LIGHT ONE UP HE SETS HIS HEAD ON MY LEG AND LOOKS AT ME WITH THESE SAD PUPPY EYES UNTIL I IVE HIM A SHOTGUN. PRETTY FUCKED UP HUH?!!

Not cool man, no ‘Lolz’ allowed here. If something like this happened to my coelacanth I’d be heartbroken.
