If you’re offended by people on message boards asking for help with stories, please look away now.
I’m doing an article for a small Bristol-based magazine (it’ll be on sale nationally, but it’s just a one off, it won’t be monthly or anything) about free parties.
I need to speak to people about their experiences of free parties. You wouldn’t have to put your name to it if you didn’t want to. I can do it by email or phone. If you can help, you can say as much or as little as you like, please email me at: Frenchpaul2003@yahoo.co.uk
Thanks very much

what kind of mag is it, whats it called??
hmm – the second journo working in Bristol in the space of a few months!
Ironically, the free party scene in Bristol is virtually non-existent in part due to publicity following parties leading to heavy Police crackdowns.
its of course up to individuals what anyone says to the chap – but I sugges they first read the “seeking free party goers” thread and our responses to Louise Mason (a freelancer working for BBC Bristol) – and particularly how [another] journo from BBC three used “covert footage” from a London squat party to increase negative publicity.
Paul – you are no doubt going to write this story whatever anyone says – I can only hope you are going to treat it with an appropriate amount of journalistic integrity; and do not want to further your career on others hardship. What has been going on in Bristol is not merely bobbies giving someone a sound telling off – it is peoples heads being cracked with batons.
I guess you enjoy parties and had you intended negative copy you woould only have gone to the old bill and got plenty from there – but as you write your article and look for your commission think carefully about the potential effect on this movement.
