Even if some parties still go well they haven’t “forgiven” us for the amount of people what got addicted to various drugs first time round, and now there are still people fucking up on ketamine etc..

TBH I think one reason Norfolk got so much flack is simply because its the corner of a country and ravers from other areas got pushed there as other regions locked down..

the same clampdown would have (and has) happened in similar areas such as Wales

also bear in mind with one of your senior dibbles now brown bread there is gonna be lots of other ambitious cops moving up the ranks – not just his replacement but the other vacancies that get created by whoever leaves to take the GMP chief constable job

they are all gonna want to prove themselves in their new positions..

cause im sure he aint gonna be ahappy about having to get up early and drive out to some party to shut it down. I reckon a few more early sunday mornings for him and it’ll be zero tolerance all the way. Hopefully not tho…

Incidentally Norfolk and Yorkshire can’t be that far away as apparently Kings Lynn etc get Yorkshire TV instead of Anglia so I would expect Yorkshire to be put on alert

Another thing the cops are pointing out is that many “norfolk” ravers aren’t from that county or even Suffolk/Essex, there are a lot of people from SE England who are trying to party here because Thames Valley has locked down some years ago as well as Hertspol/Bedfordshire…

I think we’ve gotta be carefull esp in the north about how much info is given out. as they may not view raves as a big issue up north at the mo, but that could change.
A party i went to a couple of weeks ago, which was in a good spot and done by a good and respectfull crew that always clear up and are respectfull to the cops etc got shut down with loads of dogs and cars. Also the chief inspector was there and said they were gonna sieze the rig. Luckily they reasoned with the cops that we would pack up/clean up and fuck off quickly and they didnt confiscate the rig. But it did seem a bit of an over reaction as there were only about 100 people there by then if that…

im just wondering if this is a sign of things to come for this summer? lets hope not.

Do you think the Sheffield Meet-up thread needs editing? I did discuss with a few people what to write – bearing in mind much more info for this is on a certain (private but easily infiltrated) forum.

Also note that I did not state that the 3rd meet-up was going to even involve a free-party!

If you want me to edit, I will PM a mod. And we’ll stick to PM’s of those who are coming. Anyone?

Maybe this could be useful for keeping certain things out of general view. Im not saying lets talk places and numbers ect, but just for extra security…

there’s no need for private groups on partyvibe, as a lot of SS have their own private forums/email lists. some are more strict than others how you get on, but all of them are less obvious and public than partyvibe or squatjuice.
