never trust a copper, even if the bobbies are somtimes ok their senior officers disagree and want to punish somebody..
What probably happened is beds knew the genset was there, probably didn’t have enough units/resources/storage space to seize anything so contacted TVP and asked for “mutual assistance”
also cops tend to like seizing gensets as they can take them (after Court proceedings) as “payment” for the costs of the rave.
A large stack isn’t much use to the old bill as reselling it is putting kit back into the scene, but decent gensets are now requisitioned used as backup power for rural police stations and their comms equipment!
