I want to use bits of archive.org footage in a project of mine, but all their material is NTSC (29.997 fps) format…. my projects are all done in PAL (25fps) as I’m in the UK!
Adobe premiere will sort of “convert” it but the result looks like shit (anything that moves jumps about some some old movie when cameras were hand-cranked!) and it just crashes on mpgs with soundtracks
All I need is something that takes in the mpg as NTSC and produces a 25fps (PAL) version – anyone know of good free software to do this?
