the one you on about though was ok .. i think everyone was a bit fed up though with all the travelling and the shit party before .. plus it seemed EVERYONE wanted acid and there was none floating about so ppl where all in shitty moods.
sandals can you pm me with the H name please in the post above this one? i live in newbury just wondered where it was i couldnt go due to the fact my girlfriend and i had to do the whole happy happy lets go shopping thing … gay, anywho cheers
a few posts mentioned areas where the party location was and would have been quite obvious due to the small size of these villages and lack of buildings, I was asked to remove them…
there are middle aged landowner/farmer types reading here who look for info they can use against the rave scene, they antis no longer register and argue (they tried it before and essentially got politely told to jog on); they just lurk here in angry silence waiting for people to drop their guard, so in a friendly chat its easy to forget they are there
If people are too lax about stuff online whole villages can get locked down, not just better gates/locks but with every moaning nimby waiting behind net curtains to grass up your rave convoy..
a few years ago when everyone was bragging about how good raves were and posting the full details online the backlash led to all the country types getting special welded cages for locks, extra gates, mounds of earth etc, and even refusing offers of people hosting legal events on their land…
this is also the time of year when cops are looking to use up their budget as well so they are acting on any small snippet of info, if they think a rave is gonna be in *** area they will set up roadblocks and random searches and they have been harsh in the West Berks area before
It might initially seem odd that we are leaving up references to the location of raves in larger areas or regions, but its harder to pinpoint the actual target areas in a large town/city such as Reading or Bristol with many warehouses, or an entire county (for instance Norfolk and Suffolk are huge!) or the Ridgeway which is 80 miles long….
Sorry we have to be so paranoid but look at this.. this is what Thames Valley cops can be like if they get angry enough
