happy new year to every1 on partyvibe…

went to the SE UK party (Storm / Surge / Armada /ITsY bitsY & Toc / Oblivion * Karnage / IUC ) – excellent stuff besides the false starts and some skuffles/incidents (FFS why do people take their private disputes to parties? this will fuck us over more than the old bill ever could!)

was packed full though and all the usual suspects were there 😀

I’ve only just woken up after the recovery sleep 🙂

PS: The bloke who fell off the swing at the end was taken into hospital for a check up but the ambulance crews said any injuries were non-life threatening – hopefully he wasn’t busted up too badly…

The Kelvinhall tunnel party in Glasgow was a total banger this new year! several hundred yards along a tunnel in near pitch-black, a couple hundred crusty scots bounced about like the bunch of munted idiots that we are! What a night.

Suffice to say that I spent the last few hours of it melted inside a cardboard box.

my big pregnant belle didn’t fancy any barncore on the night…

so, as is the tradition in some parts, I ended up in women’s clothing shovelling bolivia’s finest up me schnoz 😉

fair enuff, you have to make sacrifices in this sort of situation. at least one couple who i’d normally expect to see at NYE wasn’t there for this reason…

glad to hear you had a good time – ended up spending midnight in a vehicle on a motorway and was at points fairly knackered by the time the party got going (even crashed out in a van at one point) but was still worth all the effort in the end..

so what did everyone else do?

haven’t heard much from those who went to London; apart from the usual crime reports from SJ, some big multi-rigger which quite frankly sounded as much fun as signing up for the war… at least there you are allowed to shoot back at the enemy without being nicked.

a few friends went to the HEadfuk party (which I have since ascertained was not held in the same place as the other NYE bash) – anyone else go?

I went along to the Headfuk party, but not until about 6.30ish, looked like the Ketamin had taken affect by then, quite a few people had found out where the floor was and decided to stay there. Brilliant venue though, huge main room, not sure where it was meant to be before because I only found out about it that morning!

Oh and hi, sorry about the lack of intro 🙂

I don’t think HDFK had intended to be in the same place as the other large multi-rigger party, I can’t blame them TBH!

where was it in London anyway? In some ways its a compliment to them that people actually felt safe enuff to spark out on the floor … do that in any other London party and you’d surely have been rinsed…

surprisingly enough I’ve never been to a headfuk party despite having been in contact with various of the crew via the net for 10 years…. definitely have to get to at least one this year…

Happy new year everyone!

Our party was a good un, but seriously sketchy. Were given permission to use a cold store near newmarket with 3ft walls, so no OB bother, however, the pikeys squatting it were seriously dodgy. Tried to charge fiver on the door, and were brandishing a chainsaw at one point!

We threw loads of money at them to keep them quiet, so got to enjoy plenty of acid tekno until about midday. I got to Brains Kan at about 2pm, just in time to catch the last tune! GUTTED! Looked like it was banging tho…. 1000+ has been mentioned!

The party was in All Saints, not far from Canary Wharf and yeah the crowd were definitely looking comfortable, haha!

I believe the next party date planned is the 22nd, so there’s your chance to catch up maybe 😉

Humm, originally setting out for the HDFK party, I ended up at some nice location (with an execellent view of the Tower Bridge.) about 1 am. Was it Chamber Str. ?? Does anybody know really ? StinkyPinky were there, I was really drunk, it was good fun because the building was soo nice to explore, I think at some point I forgot about the music and whatever sociale ambience there might have been, I just lurked around in the dark rooms… and on the roof.

was this in Bermondsey (sarf of the river innit 😀 ) a 6 floor factory/warehouse? I think this was used in winter 2001 for a party… (quite a good one if I remember rightly)
