Hello, anyone know where I can get some of those rounded posts that kids play equipment is made out of?
I’ve had a search and not come up with much.
I’m in the North East, but Notts would be good also. Thanks, D.
Try farming fencing contractors and suppliers 😉
I think what you are talking about is what is referred to as strainers posts [about 4″ diameter?] and they come in 6-8 ft lengths…
Is it actually for a childs play area? If not, and health and safety isn’t a major issue, try local farms. They have tons of that sorta fence-post style wood around…
Yes it is for a fort/slide/swing.
I’m planning to get my kids one, but they cost a fortune and if I can get the right materials, the building of it is a doddle.
I’ll have a look down the farm supplies route.
got four of them and a pile of alsorted decking.
also got bout 2 ton of scrap iron a washing machine stone flags 2 ton building stone a mk2 golf rolls of cable.
