I WANNA TRIP TONIGHT SO PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME

eeeerm… are you actually from cali? i haven’t bothered to look but i’m not sure if semilanceata even grow in Cali. if you’re from the UK this is a very shit time to go picking and you need at least 40+ proper liberty caps to get a decent feeling from them. under 25 are not even worth eating.

I’d say not. Gills don’t look dark enough and it just doesn’t look right. Think you’ve found a LBM (little brown mushroom – mycologists use this as a catch-all term for various boring, indistinctive mushrooms).

Really ? Im in the UK and I always thought summer after a little rain was the best time to pick them ???

Never really been my thing but they grow in the castle grounds and their are often people picking them

As for eating them, again no expert, only time I tried them was in a green tea brew my cous made, pretty sure she only used the caps and binned the stalks, and from what I was told thats the best way to try and keep them down because your body will try to purge.

What you’re looking for is like a little yellow nipple on the top of the cap. That’s how you know it’s a liberty cap.
