Why in the absolute fuck are there probably as many differnt power supplies as there are laptops? They really are just complete bastards whio wanna make your life as miserable as possible for as long as possible.

That’s pretty good. Be nice to have 1 if another power brick dies but it does sound like it’s not a perfect solution.

You know if I’d been on stims I’d have cracked that motha open well before now, swapped the HDD into this and use a live OS to get the important stuff of it. That would all be fine normally but being on stims almost guarnteed things would not go well.

I can wait till wednesday fortunately otherwise I’d be ordering some stims on next day deliver lol.

I did, that’s why I ordered the doll. Nah I got in touch this morning and changed it to special delivery which was only another 2 quid. Ordered a 2.56″ HDD encolsure as well today.
