You can make alot of money from these things… Even more with the new 16g chargers, which are better value for money, plus your selling them in 2s effectively and doubling your yield.
Fucking weird shit.
Thanks you lot, btw 😉 Pity about the lack of posts In this place, I fuckin love it 🙁 Back to SJ haha
Ah yes, a whipper then!! Im actually gonna get some in a couple weeks time. Going to be a funny old time! raaa
Incidentally How big are the balloons from 8g chargers?
Unbelievably shite these lot.
Basically Ive ordered £120 worth of stuff from a good website that use UPS to deliver, well, for a £1.50 upgrade, that I payed.
I left all the right addresses, left specific delivery Instructions If I wasn’t In. I received the dispatch notice and all was fine. Comes next day and Im told Id get the stuff between 9am and 5.30pm. Fair enough, I’ll be in all day for that, good stuff.
After waiting though, no stuff, no note through the door, fuck all.
So I stuck the tracking number In on the website of theirs, and the status was DELIVERED. And signed for. At a time where I was awake too. The neighbors aint got It and neither have I. Complete fucking piss take. God knows what their office hours are, I was hoping they were open today but they’re not.
I hope I manage to get the shit otherwise there’s a big hole left in my pocket 😥
Mate thats fucking terrible. Let us know what happens yeah 😉
some couriers blatantly fake the delivery notes to make targets
parcelforce did it with 20x3m lengths of cable trunking sent to my work because it was around the Xmas period, it was sent 24 hour delivery, they told the suppliers it had been delivered and signed for (this was on a friday) – I had people looking out for this at one of our sites, because of this, but you do not just “mislay” a package this size and dimensions (it is too tall to stand upright in most offices so would have to be laid lengthwise in a corridor)
the stuff arrived on monday.
I would still contact both the suppliers and UPS… if they are a good company they will send you replacements and then claim against UPS for losing the parcel..

Whether or not it arrives I’d ring both companies first thing Monday just to make it clear they have fucked up on their promises…
if people don’t complain there is no improvement to services…

Oh yeah definitely. Im not leaving this. First thing I did this mor… afternoon when I woke up :laugh_at:
Ruined my day yesterday. Ive been waiting to get paid, to order this stuff, so knowing delivery times and when I got paid, I expected to have it by tonight. So 2 weeks of waiting effectively. Wankers! 😥
Hmm . . i don’t c how a courier can pull that ‘delivered’ stunt.
I’m in the job – NOT for that company – and an honest sort too
But when you scan it in as delivered, u need the name of the person who signed for it, so u’d have to make that up for starters. Then u gotta work out what time u feasibly would have gone there. I wouldn’t even entertain the idea. It wouldn’t wash at my company anyway.
My lot are well strict, we got very tight procedures. And quite rite too, we collect stuff that’s going onto a plane ffs. Sloppy procedures is how things Lockerbie and 9/11 happen!:frown:
Yeah all these new delivery companies are proper shite. I always ask companies to us royal mail, and if they say no I dont use them. At least if your out royal mail just take it to me local post office just round the corner to pick it up from. Really are cunts! It must be somewhere, Im sure you’ll get it eventually if you keep on at em enough.
I don’t know about that.. Royal Mail are forever losing and breaking things me and my mates send each other. It is beyond a joke!
I love laughing gas. It was a sad day when balloons got banned in clubs.
I haven’t done a balloon in over 7-8 months. Next weekend i shall be doing some! Yay!
So basically all delivery firms are shit! We’re all a bit fucked really ain’t we lol :laugh_at:
Yeah – keep on at em, again and again and again . . . .
You know what they’re like – eventually you get refund/freebies/discount or anything that will shut you up and stop you hounding them – just keep on, i say. If they fob u off with some tight-arsed gesture , harp on some more, maybe even mention that you are waiting to hear from your legal advisor on the matter – a little blag sometimes nudges things into action 😉
If that doesn’t get results, just say you are going to the newspapers about this, they’ll soon sort it. But don’t use the ‘newspapers’ line too early on, its a waste. That one is one of the ‘Ace up Sleeve/Joker’ tactics lol.
These big companies didn’t get where they are by caving in, and paying people off at the first sign of a complaint. And anyway, they generally do not cave in until they really have no other option!
So keep on keepin on raaaraaaraaa
If you stay quiet, they just assume everything is ok, breathe a sigh of relief and move on with their day.
Good Luck!
you should definitely complain about the missed delivery date, and the fake “signing” but the problem here is that depending on the contract the suppliers and UPS may point the finger at one another.
Start with the goods supplier as its their duty to take appropriate steps to ensure the goods do reach you, and make it clear to them UPS did a false “signing”.
any companies management checks can be overridden to meet targets if people high up enough with the right passwords/IT knowledge work together, unless you put in extra survillance/monitoring.
Also bear in mind that although £120 is a lot to you it is often peanuts to many companies revenue – that said most good companies will just sort out the problem and just redeliver if they feel it will secure repeat business.
one caveat about complaining too much is big companies also got where they were by knowing which customers to dump as well as which ones to keep, in many cases the customer is only as right as their potential spend and companies are a lot shrewder at working this out these days.
Also many reduce the compensation you get if you go to the press because they know it may encourage copycat claims (saw this happen when I worked in insurance).
A lot of places are fairly honest though, whilst doing year end accounts at my work I found a debit balance on a creditors ledger (this means that they owe us money as we have overpaid them!).
I suspected at least one invoice had been double counted and paid twice, and having checked this I got the purchasing manager to check with the suppliers. They actually found a second double counted invoice (from before the time I started with this company) and credited more money back to our account!
