Hi there,

Now people will read this and think that I am so so fuckin sad, but I am not!! :groucho:

Now I am from around the Leeds area and for one reason or another I have lost contact with the friends I used to go to Basics/Misson etc in Leeds with basically the mates I used to have mental, messy weekends with. I am in serious need of getting totally smashed but need some people to go with all my current mates are not really into it, so I need some fellow funky nuts to go with!!!

Any clues? xxxxxx

I use to work at basics when it was at the Pleasures rooms but I think it was before your time early ninetys to 96 did you go to it when it was at the mint?

i spend quite a lot of time around leeds depending on what music u want you have riffraff, {claim to be techno} but hard nrg more there style, also cabbage which is psy trance, then theres dub n reagge nights all three are in the west Indian center month

Yes Harty I did go when it was at The Mint, and it was far far better than it is now at Rehab! The atmosphere is totally lost at Rehab it doesn’t feel as underground and dirty!!! Although the base lines are still unbeleivable, there are too many people there that don’t appreciate the music, too many piss heads!!!

God I will I were around in the early/late ninties!! Well I was, but I mean of an age to appreciate it all!!

Do you still go out in Leeds?

When Im back in the UK Im always up in Leeds to see all me mates but the last time I really went out there was 99 and funny enough I ended up at Basics at the Mint its was ok but nothing like it was, can you remember UP YOUR RONSON?that use to be a good nite I dont know if its still going probly not also can you remember The Bedrooms or Casa Loco?

social dub is ment to be a class night, and not meny rules apply inside, im from newcastle but yeah, leeds when ive been down ive thought was mint!

HARTY – Casa Loco was a class night, I went a few times with my brother, very bouncy & messy!!

DANELECTRO – Cool, sounds good, what music though? I see Newcastle, well I am in Darlington at the mo, but like you go back to Leeds when I can, which is most weekend!! :laugh_at: Leeds is one of THE best nights out but finding people and night to go with/to is a bit of a bummer!
