hey everyone, i know this is a pretty generic post from a newbie, i was just wondering if someone would be kind enough to private message or email me some info about any up coming parties in or near london?

i like all music, i’d rather not be in a field listening to the likes of mariah carey and usher though so if any of you get round to pm’ing me or replying or emailing or whatever none of that thankyou 😛

you’ll be well lucky/unlucky to find anything but gabba, techno or dnb in the freeparties in england, there are a fair few london parties, but its unlikely anyone will send you info as we dont know who you are and the net is far from safe. plus the coppers are on us like flys on shit atm (as always)

there are stacks of legal club nights in London being plugged here though – look in our pay parties section.

antiworld seems to crop up quite often – never been to one of their nights but they seem alright

if no one here sends you details, (and because the Met have traditionally not clamped down as hard because they have too many shootings etc to deal with some London crews are still more open)

perhaps if you go to one of the legal events you will eventually find people to tell you about free parties and are also less likely to experience hassle or violence which can happen if you get the wrong London events.

ive been going to club nights in london for as long as i can remember (not a case of a really bad short term memory :P).

the atmosphere is just rubbish these days, so much attitude.

the ones that turn up on here are supposedly more underground ones though if youve been to those and they are still pony it looks like London itself is perhaps just fucked by attitude..

have a look on the calendar though in case theres something you like. some london crews still post partylines on boards at weekends… be wary of potential trouble though.

alternatively if you’ve got transport than try parties further afield?

yeah i liked the look of that synergy shindig, underworld’s alright, there was this other do at SEone where they had lego and stuff like that, i forget what it’s called planet something? planet angel maybe?.

aphex twin played at seone a few weeks back i missed that, was gutted! didnt hear about it til after the event as usual. sick!! his live sets are amazing!

i should have thought a little before going on t’internet asking about free parties i mean if i was able to find the site through search engines then im sure it’s not beyond a trainee plod so respect on the secrecy, it’s just a tad frustrating from this side of the wall

does this new secrecy mean partyvibe is now a bit useless?

i get the feeling a lot of people come here to find where the party is, then just et hacked off that we cant help them at all. why would you come back here unless you reaaly care about the future of freeparties and have summat positive to say? i dont know, and i cant think there are too many people like that out there.

i’d love to be posting up full details of every party that i hear about, and im pretty sure a lot of the secrecy is paranoia/ posturing but its self perpetuating. if i was blatant, id be less trusted by the other rigs.

i think thats why a lot of people dont hang around. this site has become pretty useless now we cant advertise th events, except as some kind of philosphical basis for future movements.

its why im on a mish to get freeparties accepted by the law.

its the police thats fucked it up, but its us that have to sort it out.

sorry to skt for the lack of real useful help :sick:
