Never really did to be honest. Never really done it too regularly enough for it to go. I have never been bored on MDMA. Some drugs, I am mashed, but see threw it. Never had that or think I will have it with MDMA. People talk about the honeymoon period, after you take your first E, when you are part of some uniting army, and all you think about is ecstasy and raving. I know if I took E soon it will be a magical experience. So yeah I think I still have the magic.
I have never lost the magic that comes with mdma. I haven’t done it much this year so every time i have done a decent bit it has been brilliant.
But saying that i ain’t really that fussed about the stuff these days, If it comes along i’ll snap it up but i ain’t gonna go out of my way looking for it now!
when i first took it i was shocked that i could feel that happy from a drug, nowadays i just dont find it that special. (maybe cos the euphoria from LSD is much much more intense)
euphoria from acid is so much deeper than from MD, iv always thought that MD feels very synthetic.
before i did MDMA i had actually had states very similar to it sober, but it felt so much better because it was without the side effects (tense muscles, blurry eyes, heart racing)
i’ve never been able to feel it naturally since MDMA though =( maybe one day
Personally i now think the mdma drought has been quite beneficial in some ways.
Couple years ago i was constantly caning it and my tolerance for the stuff was quite high. When i did that pinger on my birthday i only had one and i was absolutely battered. Just like when i first started doing em.
I think long breaks in-between are the way forward now. Sod going back to days of boshing it every weekend!!
At first, hello, I’m new here 🙂
I’ve never managed to lose the magic of MDMA. I’ve had a period of my life where for about 5 months I’d roll twice a week or so but now I’m completely out of it. I havent actually touched it more than twice over the last 3 months.
I have the impression that often people come up with excuses such as the fact that they’re over the pills, to cover up for other concerns they may have regarding its long term side effects. Not everyone is well informed about MDMA and even about whats included in the different pills.
about 10 times before I started to find it a bit boring and far less intense.
Its boring, predictable , of dubious quality and the come down is not worth the high but it still took about four years of caining to get that point .
Psychedelics (LSD) are the way forward, all the good stuff of md (and then some! ) for 12 hours at £3.50 ago and much much less toxic for you body, you do the math !

Dear Dr. Shulgin: After my first 150 MDMA pills, with any MDMA pill I took the positive effects were very low and negative were high. I was still trying to get that loveable feeling but I get absolutely nothing but a nasty hangover. I quit for a couple of months then tried it again and nothing but an awful hangover…will I ever get the loveable feeling back or is it gone forever? — Specialist

I have combined your letters in that both of you are experiencing the same property that MDMA invokes with repeated usage, and you are both asking the same question looking for some explanation.
The property you are experiencing is what I call the loss of the magic of that first experience. My first experience with this drug was indeed magical. I was suddenly one with myself, one with the world; I was a person who had no secrets from himself and one who could trust others to be as honest with him as he was with himself. Almost everyone has a vivid recollection of his first experience. That is what I call the “magic.” But that is usually lost after a few experiences and, I do believe, is never recovered. The stimulant properties are still there, and the eye-twitch and tooth-grinding are still there, and some of the warmth and comfortable interactions, but the magic is gone.
This is not tolerance from the pharmacological point of view. Tolerance is lost with time. I do not believe that this “magic” loss is itself ever recovered. It appears that, after a certain number of drug uses, the magic slips away. The exact number probably varies with the person.
Which brings up your second points, those regarding the reports that MDMA may be neurotoxic. Despite the extensive research that has been spent upon it, there is still no objective evidence that MDMA damages human nerves. But I certainly can’t argue but that there are brain changes that could be assignable. Take this “loss of magic” thing. Some brain change has occurred, and it does not appear to be reversible. Is this evidence of “damage?” I don’t think so, but I don’t know. Change? Yes. We can never walk the same path twice so the assignment of responsibility, of causality, is uncertain. Definitions that would distinguish between damage and change might help.
