I always had to take a bit of another stimulant with crystal MDMA; otherwise I would feel knackered during the night and if I was “on duty” as part of a rave crew preferred straight amfet as this meant long hours having to think and act quickly to deal with various situations that arose…..

The whole “losing the magic” thing is something that prohbitionists and antis with no idea of drugs are unaware of and is a reason why even legalising MDMA would not create the carnage they fear; unlike other more addictive drugs people will eventually grow out of regular usage patterns (whether or not they still like the music, arts and social occasions associated with their drug use) as they get older and reduce their usage of this substance or stop taking it altogether; as the returns start diminishing if you cane it too often.
