Easy all,

just arrived in manchester for that new-city challenge, what’s the party scene like round abouts this way?
DnB / Dubstep if im gonna get fussy but always up for a good stomp.

DnB and DubStep are probably the main genres at most Manchester parties as far as I know…

There are various rigs around, although you’re better off going to some legal nights (check out the Saki bar) and getting contacts, police paranoia takes over on forums 😉

po na na is good on mondays
go to fuse @ the roadhouse – 1st friday of every month – ace night for breakbeat
theres always events like the warehouse project http://www.thewarehouseproject.com and ape @ the apollo (these are drum n bass nights etc)
there loads of decent clubs to go to and drop and have a good time :weee:
private partys I don’t know huge amounts about

try looking up drum music – dnb, dubstep with live drumming –

you might find out about free parties at either of these events

your best bet looking for dnb club nights generally is the website northwest drum & bass

perhaps you should ask not how manchester can impress you, but how you can impress manchester…

failing that, what lemonzorba said

party crews to look for – daylite robbery, stumblefunk, ohana, strangewayz, strangedays, longshot, eer, cant think of any more right now .. =)
