There’s absolutely plenty going on in Manchester, and there are at least 3 good partylines about.

Between summer and December there was pretty much a party every two weeks, just got to keep your ear to the ground and make the effort.

hey there excuse the name i ant been on here for at least a yr now …..as i am a northern but lived in south for many yrs partyin became hard wen i moved bk up north.I used to go all the time wen i was dnw south and found it easy to find out bout them blabla. They usualy is sum parties in the leeds area if u can get that far… mayb sum in mannie but the main 1s that i used to follow are mainly in clubs now but if u want any info give us a shout am happy to try n help u.

We at M.R.S.A have been tryin so hard to get you another party up and running following the Belle-Vue mandrills riot. The original plan was to have one this weekend (3rd feb). Unfortunately this has had to be postponed until further notice. We will be bringing you a party soon but as we have had some problems we can’t do it until a later date than planned.

We will be advertising our parties via flyers and word of mouth as this is the safest way to deal with our way of work.

On the 3rd of Feb, assemble at 4pm at Cathedral Gardens aka “Urbis” and WEAR AS MUCH BLACK AS POSSIBLE. Bring banners and flyers, etc… Behave appropriately- this is a peaceful protest, zero tolerance policy amongst protestors toward aggressors- We’re speaking out AGAINST mindless violence, not organizing a big get-together to engage in it. There was a lot of bad press MAINLY because of one twat and his macho “I’ll smash an ambulance and everyone’ll think I’m proper core, innit” mindset at the time. We want to EDUCATE, not instigate. We want to show SOLIDARITY in the face of evil scum using a warehouse full of party people as a training ground for wannabe riot cops. Could they do it to us in town, with all the CCTV? Dunno. Look up “the Battle Of Peterloo” on Google. This incident on the 20th has been called “The Battle Of Belle-Vue”. We want our basic rights back. We won’t stop until the mainstream media covers us REGULARLY and informs the general public of our causes and achievments, not just pointing out isolated incidents perpetrated by people who are obviously idiots. There will be collections at the protest to give to the Ambulance Service, to cover as much as we can towards the cost of the smashed window. Should the person who did it read this, we’re not asking for your name, just you put a nice little donation (?) in the pot.

yeah all valid points, we dont take the risks we did yrs ago, with kit, we live in small country areas , where word of mouth brings us enough party heads for a great night, we work in small numbers which i think is best, but doing mass demos and trying to do free parties…
