People need to fight back intellegently, I’m as guilty as anyone for loosing sight and steaming in only to take a beating off the old bill.
Years ago a chatted with a woman at a demo in london who ripped me to pieces for being dressed in black, masked up and as she put it whats better the bastards in blue or you in black. The system wants people to react and violence as a reaction is easy for them to handle and win.
They will always be better armed and organised.
People need to pick there spots wisely but also when busted not simply react with violence.
The clown army is an intellegent way of confronting the police, blatantly breaking the law but not falling into the trap of appearing like violent thugs.
Some mates of ours were arrested for similar thing, years ago and a crowd built up outside the police station and things turned ugly. This was rescued by another system turning up and the party was held outside the police station with the condition that we would leave when they were released.
It worked, and probably wouldn’t have in this case but it would still look much better riot police attaching a group of happy people just dancing!
It’s a huge thing to do and i know is much harder than words but it is the only way of confronting the police
