just a few thoughts [i’m from halstead originally] –
don’t know if you know, but there used to be some *tiny* parties round that way [still are sometimes i think?], but if i were you i’d definitely think about making it a licensed event – & definitely not chalkney woods!!! fucking bait mate , not to mention being a site of specific scientific interest, so should be left alone!]

not to mention essex police are not overly friendly towards parties / local area has had loads of chav muppets trying to party on a number of other s.s.s.i.’s [with ensuing police, community & environment agency anger].
don’t want to rain on yr parade, just benefit of experience & that 😥
my advice would be to a] try going the license route, b] find some other like-minded crew & spend ages finding sensible, safe & lush location or c] do what i did when i lived in the area & goto london a lot!
