    PURESOUND SOUNDSYSTEM – Party Vibe

    hampshire you say,
do you ever visit anywhere in surrey?

Unlikely as Surrey is even more of a zero tolerance area. They were/are against even legal events, most Surrey people do them in Hampshire or Reading area (what was Berkshire but the county got abolished and there a 5 councils centred around Reading). Ben has not been on here for ages, I hope he has not got into trouble.

its worth taking a look at google maps of your area and you will realise how small SE England is geographically. Even if you do not have a car it is still easy enough to get around on a train or a bicycle. I used to live in Reading from 1992 to 2006 and regularly attended events in all these counties.

yeah, cycling is the way forward just need somewhere to go though and I do know a few people who drive but depending on where we’re going and the whats happening, its still a question of who. by the way, do you know anything about a small event in sandhurst a few weeks ago?

I’ve not lived in SE England for 7 years, but there are certain areas round there what do get used for smaller parties. The crews doing them vary and tend to change from one year to the next, so its difficult to get any more info than that unless you are trusted. Bear in mind that some crews are targeted by cops posing as young people because the crew members are suspected of less pleasant crimes than just doing unlicensed raves, so folk are a lot more suspicious of newcomers than they ever were.

I’ve seen a few bits of info about legal dance events still happening in Reading. Next time I speak to my sister I could ask her as she is still involved with the music scene there, though she normally does guitar based events she does know a fair few people.

Cheers mate, I can understand about the trust issues and one wrong word to someone can ruin the event, legal or not.

I remember recently just a few people I know were going to find and gate crash a party but then again one of my mates asked me to go with him to it, can see how my trust levels would of gone up or down…. didn’t end up going to it in the end though. I think I made a smart choice

I might have to get a job, if i do get invited a party in reading or further, abit dangerous on a bike.

I used to know a fair few rigs round your way. That’s about all I can think of to say. Lots of bumpkin rigs round and about it. Reading is a shithole. Welcome

TRhats precisely why it got rinsed for holding parties in, especially the abandoned warehouses to the South of the town. unfortunately folk overdid it to such an extent they even pissed off the residents of Whitley!

People only care if it affects them, if it does they whine and moan as much as they can. I do need to get incontact with any local DJ’s MCs or producers in my area, I do know some but they know as much as me for any musical events for local artists.

I can imagine. Only been to one free party in reading and one club (rig night); never again. ugh

There are probably new locations, but who knows that?
