Molly is actually another a short form for Maria or Margaretha. It is not so common in Germanic languages and this Madel is also not quite as virtuous or pure! (in the context of drugs it increasingly means MDMA mixed up with NPS research chemicals; which is a bad combination)

I always thought Molly was a street name like XTC – Exstasy – Eva (Close to the the compound MDMB “Adam” having an effect like XTC with an amphetamine likely more speedy effect than the love effect of MDMA,!!! was told to me !!!
But am possibly, EVEN MORE TOTALY CERTAINLY COMPLETELY WRONG, SO DON’T BELIEVE MY COMMENT AS LONG the “Trippy Meanie Online Brain book” stored in REQUIEM OPEN SOURCE LIBRARY reappear !!!!

MDMA + mephedrone or the other new stimulants. Sometimes it is further bulked out with inactive materials. It was more common just after 2008 when MDMA production was disrupted by the cops and soldiers seizing and destroying lots of safrole in Asia.

Taking one stimulant on top of another all at once can stress the internal organs badly; then what also happens is people get used to weaker stuff and then in recent times much stronger and purer MDMA appears on the market, users take far too much of this and end up in the ambulance.

Molly is supposed to be just MDMA although obviously it gets cut sometimes.
