so we were just googling ourselves (as one does…) and came across your thread. we organised the event last year and it means so much to see you dug it! as with all free parties, it was only made possible by the love and effort of all involved – too many to list! thanks for making it all the way into the hills – wicked.

we’re gonna be doing it all again this year but with a few sparkling alterations. we’re gonna be scheduling a literature/spoken word stage as well as broadening the live stage (thanks to the fantastic Muddy Promotions bods) into acoustic programming. in order to make these dreams turn into reality, it’s gonna be a licenced event (t.e.n.’s been granted – yay!) and we’ve even been awarded some funding to help us schedule the literature. needless to say, the psytrance will still be pumping, with the valued love and guiding hand of Atlantis. innit.

this is NOT gonna be a suddenly pricey experience. our major aim is to make sure all the bods who’ve supported the free parties, as well as the kids in the local area, can afford to make it. 25 squid for the full weekend inc camping – covering costs n nothin more.
really hope that you’ll wanna make the journey again – and that it’ll be even more special than in 06. big love to all the psychedelic family – hope to see ya there.

that’s exactly it man. we want to give a stage to young, exciting writing – strong, political writing – and put it side by side with the beats. it’s time the rest of society realised that electronic music is an artform and unless it’s recognised then there are always gonna be boundries, lack of understanding, people walking round with their hoods up and their heads down. if the creativity that young people care about is marginalised and criminalised then what the fuck do they expect but separation and lack of trust? it’s got to happen eventually. fuck’s sake. it’s only music!
