anyone go? had a well good time, 5rigs and the beach :crazy: bit sun burnt but its all good, fat party. p.s do ppl ever actually review parties here? or go to them….

we do get party reviews but our ravers are more spread out (many are not even in the UK) and there are a lot of older people who don’t go as regularly but still enjoy the scene.

ironically this place had some of the most detailed reviews on raves (and SJ’s threads about parties were a lot longer, bigger and even named all the people and random stuff that happened) until the cops started scouring all the party websites using this info to bring people before Court.

I think a few people from here did go but are probably still recovering.. others would have gone but couldn’t get lifts or find the place, mistaking it for a similarly named area in another county.

The partyline directions given weren’t clear to those who do not know the North Norfolk coast well or have not been to previous beach parties…

Hopefully me and my mates will get to another beach party later in the summer, I had an excellent time with a small crew of people last year (not really a rave, just a random trip to the seaside) and hope to do it again raaa

I won’t divulge the messages that I got but there did seem to be a bit of politics about “two parties being on in the same county” – but I don’t think any crew has the right to “claim” a county..

it didn’t cause a problem in the end and might have been better, with larger multiriggers it becomes more impersonal and there is risk of people with the wrong attitude getting there (even in EA which is one of the friendliest areas to party in).

I read on SJ a few people got “robbed” at the multirigger (it was unclear however whether they meant “robbed” as in turned over with violence or just opportunist pikeys nicking stuff carelessly left unattended)

However given the local geography I don’t think 2 or more parties in the county causes as many problems in a county the size of Norfolk (one of the biggest in England) compared to somewhere like Berkshire – particularly when you consider two of the main East Anglian counties are locked down, which pushes “their” ravers all into Norfolk.

i did hear about the ‘robbery’

a BMW got stuck in the soft verge down the side of the track and from what i heard the stereo and speakers etc got pinched. i dont think it was robbery more like, as GL said opportunists who saw an abandoned car and had a go. apart from that the atmosphere was very friendly. the driver of the RAC recovery truck certainly had a smile on his face when he turned up:laugh_at: .

and yes the directions where a bit er.. vague.

considering it was a multirig it was’nt too big which meant there wernt the problems you usaully associate with a HUGE multirigger. and the rigs wernt too big either..

enjoyed my bacon sarnies in the morning too…cheers,,,you know who you are!!

Went to a different party near luton .. that got busted.

old bill where safe as fuck at the party, said music off at 2 and all to leave .. fair enough. then when we left we where met with about 80 cop cars .. and all got breathalised.

after that everyone followed to a carpark in tesco’s – i was well up for going to norfolk .. even rang someone there to see what the old bill situation was and to see if we could set up the rig there .. they said yep no problem the more the merryer.

but having a car park full of cars half of which where up for it half of it wernt kind of complicated things .. so we just went and set up somewhere local.

which was fine because it was a good little party anyways ..

old bill said music of at 1 sunday afternoon .. which we did .. tidied up everything they said all good. then again when we left whre met with a barrage of cop cars .. quite a few ppl got dun i think too leaving this party.

shame.

Yeah i went to the first party you talked about but hadn’t slept the night before so went when it got closed down!
Dunno what the cops were thinking the tunes were turned off in half an hour as they asked! I think there was nearly as many cops as ravers as well, probally up for a ruck or summin BASTARDS!!!!!
Saying that although the location seemed good you could here the rig all through the town!!!
Suprised they didnt take the rig you would have thought they would have with that many old bill!

yeh well the other party that was in the same county was meant to be held in london anyways so fuck em if they decide with full knowledge that theres a multirigga happenin that they wanna set up in the same county. well nice vibe at the beach so got the feelin a lot of twats were at the other party, twas pretty surpised to hear about the robbery but yeh we also drove past those ppl who got there car stuck and they must have been pretty talented to get it stuck on a stright bit of wide track… :you_crazy

the other party in norfolk was wikid! we were goin to go to the multirigger but the party we went 2 was closer for us! nice one to the organisers and everyone was buzzin about it not being in london !:group_hug

yeah I heard they were both good parties…

East Anglia is huge, TBH provided there isn’t rubbish or damage it doesn’t matter really if more than one rave goes off in the area, and the two locations chosen aren’t overly problematic to the rest of society.

the best way to keep out twats from any party is not to give them lifts or partylines in the first place, if you have “mates” who can’t live without wanting to nick something or fight to “prove themselves” then just leave them behind to do that shit in the town and keep the feds occupied until they learn…
