well arent we the bunch of lamers then. i think globalloons the only one with a proper excuse. i was working in the local kevvy pub – truly shit, but paid well. we had a night booked but the club fucked it up. shitbox. so was all “live to fight another day”

havin said that nye is the shittest night of the year to go out – all the boring fuckers who stay in all year come out to prove they aren’t really boring, and get between me and the bar. and make boring conversation

next new years how about a partyvibe clubnight near reading or summat? could make it a large one that isnt too pricey..

just coz it is relatively central for quite a lot of folk. tbh ive been avioding reading parties, so maybe not the best choice

it would be phat if biotech, fatbaby, native beats and storm did a biggun, so some where equidistant from devon, norfolk, reading and brighton.

i spose salisbury, which is wak.

free parties in Reading are some of the best urban ones (much the same buzz as London with as fraction of the hassles).

the commercial clubs are shite, partly because of the chav / wannabe gangster element causing the usual trouble (fights, shootings, CS etc) and TVP actively discouraging rave events due to the drug problems (during the 1990s TVP regularly checked up on every rave event and those who organised them). But thats probably the same story for every city and town in the SE area.

Incidentally shouldn’t this thread go back on the main board now rather than hijacking Headfuks forum 😉 (I was hoping for a review on the HDFK NYE party which was why I posted here, my NYE was actually spent at Alton..)
