TBH if certain parents from certain middle class ethnic families chilled out and let their lads party and maybe even experiment with drugs but not to the point they burn out (which can be equally dangerous) they would be less inclined to start wars/terrorism in foreign land ot at home.
Ironically many of the Daily Mail reporters who deal with any “yoof” issue seemed to be Pakistani lads from the West London area, presumably because they don’t look “out of place” in urban environments. But the creative industries have died on their arse in the UK or been subsumed into the IT industry (which is how Universities bullshit parents into sending their kids up) – according to their figures I never left the creative industries. it was recently pointed out that the ISIS recruiting videos and newsletters have a very high production standard; they are produced by radicalised Muslims with experience of “Western” media production techniques; I wonder if this is what is happening to young middle class lads who spend 4 years at Uni, were promised loads and don’t get the well paying job/car etc, and are scolded by their wives and mocked by kids for such (and they don’t get a choice about having those either); in the 90s they could at least take drugs and party but its harder now (especially as since the fed have become more “culturally aware” (to idealised stereotypes perpetuated by the older generation and the Church of England) you are profiled as a potential dealer and groomer of young girls simply for having brown skin and “unconventional family values”.
I’m not surprised TBH some lads decide they have had enough and decide to go to some foreign land and blow shit up…./
