it is widely bundled with Linux desktop distros for some years – it is well respected as its operates across many protocols rather than having 2 or 3 different ones all hogging resources and increasingly scanning your traffic for targeted ads; and beiing open source you can see more clerly how it works I don’t really have the requirement for full encrypt (nor the equipment or expertise to test it) but was thinking that it could be useful especially if I start using my other RPI more for Python development (its relatively low power processor and the Raspbian distro not being coded to make full use of the GPU makes other web surfing very slow).
