You’d think that but there has been ALOT of partys over the years but most of the time the spot your dancing on has already been used for a party!!!
It would be fine if you could set a party up anywhere but you cant!! They have to be as out of the way as possible, away from “normal folks” eyes and ears!!!

    otherwise this happens

lots of this countrys land is owned by powerful people; who normally only let out land if it is going to be commercially successful. There are very few “common” spaces in England and Wales, the rest of the land which isn’t urbanised or used for housing is actually used for business purposes; either agriculture, livestock farming or industrial premises.

The few public spaces in this country are still often rented off large landowners, but the contracts often make the public bodies or voluntary organisations commercially liable for clean up costs but obliged by contractual terms to ensure the place is clean.

with a legally held event the organisers are contractually liable for clean up – but with an illegal event every time a rave happens and clean up isn’t done properly, someone else pays; either the tax payers in that local area or the voluntary organisations budgets…

people these days don’t even like paying tax for essential stuff like the NHS and schools – they are really going to be angry they are paying to clean up after raves (particularly those who have never been to one or don’t agree with the concept) – and many feel that sacrificing a bit of “free access” and or “dealing robustly” with ravers is worth it..
