  • p.s When i talk about a babysitter, i mean as in the fact you dont know when you are going to be back at, you may get easily led (as if) in to partying on somewhere else unknown, also you take copius amount of narcotics and you nedd time to recover!! And i dont want to be late collecting my kid, you get me? So if i get the weekend of, i would of course go to a free party, or if it was local, no prob. getting out a b.sitta for 1 night….am sure other people have got the same problem….??

How would you compare a dnb pay event to a dnb freeparty? call me narrow minded I adore dnb just seem to have been put off with all the attitude at pay events?:

Still yet to go to a free party with DnB back in Kent all seems to B Psy Trance but this summer is going to B different.
can not wait till summer. :sun:

I to hate packed out hot as hell clubs I always come out dripping.
But had some great night over at Reading [Baseheads] lot of room 4 my cazy legs!
Never had any probs with attitude at any pay events even at the END [london] loads of rudeboys but no probs.
U can not beat being outside under the stars :star: :star: :star: :star:

i used to go to bassheads when i lived in reading, but i didn’t like the matrix, there was a load of chavs there quite alot, but i saw krust there which would of been worth it was i not so wasted, as my mate said we were baseheads @ bassheads :teeth: hahaha crap i know… didn’t you like the Boxing club, that was an excellent place to party, and are you sure you weren’t just dripping cos you were hot and sweaty from drugs ?!!!!!, but the boxing club was a sweaty place though, lose a stone overnight if yoiu went there!

I lived in Kent and my G-friend was at uni in reading, she went to the boxing club only once for a hardcore night, and warned me if I do not like hot clubs to give it a miss so I never went. Found Reading on the whole so much less chavy then Maidstone [Kent] I think cos Reading it was a Student town.

    Maidstone/Chatham Chav Mecca!

Yeah you def notice the difference between places, Reading, prob coz its bigger and a student town seemed to have a diluted amount of chavs etc whereas somewhere like maidstone is full on chav-ness, I remember goin to dnb nights there and we were about the only people there that weren’t chavs!! Completely different story in say Reading or Brighton, much more of a mixed crowd. :rainbow: :sun:

Yeah of coarse I man! as with anything it is only small minority!! But unfortunately the small minority get everywhere and coarse trouble and u notice that alot more than someone just being nice! I went to fabric the other week actually going on about most dnb pay events being chav paradise it was really good no attitude in there wot so eva every single person I spoke to was well alwright!
I was actually dancing to the wicked dnb that was and not worrying about accidently bumping in to someone incase they beat me up!
I haven’t been freepartying in a year due to the bloke who used to drive still driving absolutely waisted!! Im not going to risk my life anymore so go to pay events instead! You cant beet freeparties though they are the best and when I drive myself I will be in a different part of the countryside every weekend! I meen partying in the day all day for as long as you want with great music, great people and the most amazing scenery and walks to go on that is my paradise! just dont want to die getting there! or end up being part of killing some other inocent person/people! plur

Everything and anything, with in reason.

Things i can’t bear are classical and opera types, something about it which makes my brain hurt.

    I quite appreciate classical.

I hear you on Opera though.

Can’t get me head round it,.. Even the likes of beethoven and tchaikovsky which are classic so to speak, (no pun intended!) don’t even do it for me.

It’s quite freeform, it takes you on a journey and has loads of different layers in one composition. That’s what appeals to me.

Wouldn’t say it gave me tingles and gets me buzzing though.

ha ha, gives me tingles – well more like cringes!

But tbh i think my music preferences were significantly impaired at a very young age – my brothers got ten years on me so from the age of about 8 onwards or there abouts i’ve been subjected to listening to whatever he was, carl cox, ellis dee etc.

It’s only the few years i’ve started to listen to and appreciate other types of music other than rave associated music.

Still don’t think the classical will be on the agenda though.

For me it has to be Oldskool JungleTechno, followed by Oldskool Hardcore (90-92), House (88-96), Garage (US), dnb and then not too hard Techno.
Top Buzz mastered JungleTechno. Others were good, but Top Buzz were and still are my inspiration when buying tunes. As for MC’s never been big on em. When I have a house party round mine I do have MC’s, but it is more to keep my mates happy who do a bit of MCing. I did like Patrik from Top Buzz, but he got too much in the end, especially when he changed his name to Mad P.

I actually studied music whilst I was at school and have a classicaly trained singing voice I also play the piano and the cornet.
I have total respect for the classical side of things coz if it wasen’t for that where would music be now. Today there are still samples of it in loads and loads and loads of music I meen anyone ever head The oman gabber tune?
I dont have my radio tuned into classical fm or anything but would still much prefer to here that than the likes of Kylie minogue I meen she is absolutely stunning but thats about it where is the talent?
I am also a big fan of musicals I have been to see Les misrebles phantom of the opera and My fair lady and they where all fantastic.
I hope to join an opratic group myself soon so I can start on my singing again because it is something that I really enjoy. :rainbow:

old skul jungle for me too, but like you i love musicals, old ones with doris day (the shame of it!) and i have been to see cats 3x beauty and the beast, and abba the musical and starlight express etc, i think there are 3 oman /omen tunes actually, trying to get them on vinyl, but i have buying way too much old skul jungle and d n b vinyl lately, need to get with the program for the present but noting really floats my boat, i like the rawhill cru, i think they are real funny, managed to get the original and the bad company mix of mo fire, so i was well pleased!!! i have actually got the fiddler on the roof vinyl lp aswell!! gawd i should be ashamed, but i stand loud and proud hee hee

I no, I should be really emabressed about that!!lol!! Im just saying that compared to the mainstream music nowadays these composers where absolute geniouses!!
Did anybody no that Simon Cowell was the man behind tellytubbies, mr blobby and Bob the builder?
AND that Andrew llyod webber wrote itsy bitsy teeny weeney yellow polka dot bikini!! Now he is talented and it shocked me when I heard that!!
