In my experience intellectuals tend to be socially awkward thus preventing them from connecting with “hot” women. I used to be just kik that, through high school and during the first part of my stint in the Army. Then I met my wife and she was the answer to every question I ever had plus the ones I I didn’t even know.

TBH I think it is also made worse by gender divisions in education and industry especially in English speaking and South European countries; there are way less girls/women in tech/science here. TBH if I ever decided to get married/go for a long term relationship I’d look for a partner in Germany or the Eastern Netherlands where things aren’t so bad; but these young women are also a lot more strict in some ways (many are still quite religious)
