How risky would it be to take about 4 tabs on holiday? The drug laws in the country of destination are pretty damn strict but my friend can’t stop thinking how amazing it will be to go tripping with his best mates and go island hopping with a speedboat in the Maldives…

FIrst tripping on a speedboat = shit. We almost died doing it. Good acid plus being in the middle of the sea does not mix well. You need to be sensible with acid as its one of the most dangerous things out there with regards accidents and the like.

I would reccomend if you are taking it abroad to buy liquid and drop it onto the pages of a book in an obvious place.

Crossword puzzles are good but I use the page numbers in the corner of novels.

Do you think they are trained to smell LSD? I know it’s supposed to be odourless and everything but does that just mean that humans can’t smell it? Maybe dogs can with thier sense of smell being 10000 times better than ours?

this ‘dd team’ (U.S I think) firm said:

All drugs detection teams are capable of locating all major illicit substances including heroin, cocaine, crack cocaine, ecstasy, amphetamines, lsd, marijuana etc.
I’m guessing not all dogs are trained on all substances – but I maybe wrong…

I’ve seen passive dogs stop and the belongings only had ‘trace’ –
I.e stuff had been in a bag / drawer but was no longer,
or lines been racked up and used on a CD’s case and were not visable to the naked eye, even clothes retaining smoke from skunk being ‘pulled’ up for inspection

I’m presuming K is within this spectrum too as it’s now so popular, the police would have just trained the dogs on it

One notable quality of detection dogs is that they are able to discern individual scents even when the scents are combined or masked by other odors. In one case at an Australian prison a detection dog foiled an attempt to smuggle drugs that had been hidden in a woman’s bra and smeared with coffee, pepper and Vicks Vapo-rub

A sniffer dog’s sense of smell is 2000 times more sensitive than that of humans.
They can even detect things (blood, etc.) that have been left for as long as 10 years. They can detect blood even if it has been scrubbed off surfaces. In one case, a sniffer dog sniffed a drop of blood on the wall that had been attempted to be scrubbed off. It was so small that it couldn’t be seen without a microscope
