Summer is almost upon us and Brighton Alliance of Sound Systems (BASS) will
be celebrating the longest day of the year with a samba parade from Dalton’s Bastion
(opposite the Volks Tavern – east of Brighton Pier), led by Barulho samba band, to
the Banjo Groyne on Madeira Drive.

Gather from 8pm. The procession will embark on its journey at 8.30pm.

The evening will culminate in a profusion of sound and visual effects aided
by firedancers courtesy of Trickswap, carnival costumes, laser and visual
projections and ambient sounds all set to a backdrop of Brighton’s very own
‘Stonehenge’.

Brighton Alliance of Sound Systems (BASS) is a non profit making
organisation dedicated to producing free events for the local community
of Brighton and Hove.

ow, widdle doggy wog face, pweez wiw you come to brighton beach. you know you have to come with a resposible adult with a pooper scoop, dont want you leaving behind some steaming presents for the kiddy winks to slip over in, now do we? its a proper dog-freindly event, there will well loads of dogs arses to sniff, an that, and if your a good dog, i’lll let you be a steward dog for a few hours, then all the othere dogs will know that you are well importanrt, yer?

if you dont i’ll steal your tail and set fire to it, but thats beside the point…

as you asked so god dammed nicely il come, that’s if i cant make it to the realy tone henge and if i can get a lift,
by the way i dont want to be a steward if it’s going to make me impertant i do want pup’s one day you know, o ye and are NativeBleat’s going to be there coz it be nice to see them it been a while

well, that was sicker than a dog in a tumbledryer.

went smooth as silk, couple o thousand peeps on the beach, samba band, projections, lazers, ambient tunes, dances, ganja, wickedness etc.

afterparty kicked it as well. flurkin luursh.

im burnt to fuck, the soles of my feet hate me, and ive got an interveiw in the morning, but fuck me i feel great. i love BASS.

anyone else make it down?

Well Done 2 BASS and all the other people that made it happen
wish I could of got to the after-party sounds like I would of loved it.
