WAT a banging party!!! best in a long time, just got home time to chill out n sleep
Init, had a wicked time, wicked location, especially the balcony bit, proper, proper, proper went off. Just got back and realised I’ve lost my camera with all the pics on it though!
SJ Paste 😀
Well I thought It was alright. Nothing special, but deffo not a shit night. Took us about 3 hours to get there though, with the paty line updating every 40 mins. Ended up traveling an extra 50 miles than the straight journey home. Added to the fact we had to stop and wait for the line to update, add another hour and half for that.
Got there about 12.30 after loosing our convoy and found another convoy on the motorway, and followed those 😀 Managed to get in pretty quick too, right next to the barn doors. This does mean ive now got more finger/hand marks all over my car than Ive ever seen 😀
Rig sounded a little strange, but nothing deffo worth moaning about anyway. I thought maybe It was something to do with the accousitcs of the barn tbh. I wouldn’t know anyway…
Stayed till after pretty much everyone else left, about 2.30pm. OB were whinging saying they’d section 63d us about 3am, but were abused and left. And said It wasn’t their problem no one heard about the coming in. If you ask me, if a section 63 is served, someone from a rig crew should be told. No good telling the first cunt you see and hoping he is gonna tell everyone else.
Proper nice to see the biggest clean up operation ever haha. Literally had the place rubbish free, apart from a few broken bottles and that.
All in all not bad at all. Lost my phone in a field when I got home though ffs!
wicked location and saw loads of people i havnt seen in time!
ive heard their rig sounding a lot lot better, not enough mid top, they’d put the turbosounds on their side which wouldnt help, so it was too much bass
didnt stay all day cause i had loads of stuff to do back home but was nice catch up with some old mates, ate some 2cb and had a good laugh as ever!
travelled there … got told by a copper (in his words) “drive away or get f**king arrested” so we drove a little away from the party and got pissed 🙂

Ah they talk bollocks. They’ve said this before.
“So I guess you’ll be going elsewhere then”
“I guess we will”
Weeee haha. The looks on their faces.
Still though, not worth the risk I suppose.
to be honest from experience … its best to leave it … theres always a another party to attend another time … its about knowing when it just aint your day … they were towing cars from the party site … had several towing trucks lined up outside the party site … at the end of the day id more rather not be a knob when the coppers have got enough on their plate, some disrespect them and call them this that and the other. fair enough some are bent, twisted and yet entrusted with the hand of the law but like yesterday they were calm … no police brutality … they just wanted it closed down.
here, here
its a let down, but knowing when enuf is enuf (even after 1.5h drive, its best to leave it alone, especially talking from exp.)
cops are increasingly seizing the private motor cars of those who do not leave rave sites quickly enough (not just the organisers vans and lorries)
i can understand if they are on the street, or blocking somewhere, but else where out of the way i dont understand what law they can get u on
Yeah my mate was saying this? Maybe once they’ve got the order to close the party down they’re alowed to blanket get rid of everyone and everything related to it? Not sure. If its a tactic their increasingly using though, its a law Id like to understand.
yes.
once a section 63 has been given the cops can do that. They’ve had this power since 1994 but only recently had the legal backup to enforce it – you may have noticed their new radios are also mobile phones, and they use these to talk to a CPS lawyer who is available on call 24/7 at the Police station.
These lawyers are often our age (well late 20s-40s) and the sort of people who studied hard at Uni and deeply resented their peers who led hedonistic or alternative lifestyles, and put a fair bit of effort into counteracting our attempts to play the system.

Cheers dude!
a while back there was this news footage posted of the helicopter and a rave being closed down, and for some reason they left the radio soundtrack on (usually its blanked for security reasons)
you could hear the woman on the control room saying something like “do not call Victor Kilo One Bronze (this would be a sargeant on the frontline) on airwave as his set is on the phone”
Although cops do often have civillian mobile phones as well (the call costs are cheaper) in places like Thetford Forest they do not work as well as Airwave sets which have a stronger radio signal (this is also why cops are now getting better at busting raves in dense woodland)
I expect the lady was saying this as otherwise loads of “call waiting” flags come up on her screen and probably there is a “beep” in her headset each time – this is because if it was an emergency she could interrupt his telephone call and put the other comms through.
At one point she sounded quite flustered and cross :laugh_at:
but this would most likely mean that sarge is speaking directly to the lawyer at “gold command” (the police station) to discuss strategies on how they could deal with the rave using all applicable laws
incidentally the seizure of cars is done under anti-social behaviour legislation originally aimed at gary boys (but the cops were advised to investigate the links between raves (legal and illegal) and the modified car/cruising culture…)
