does anyone know if theres a free party scene in birmingham and some party line numbers coz i just moved up here and i wanna go out raving again

hi evolution

i live in wolverhampton, 20 miles from brum, and have been partying every summer for a good few years now. i can safely say i’ve never been to a party in birmingham or even really heard of one. there probably are parties going on but they’re not that obvious.

i’d love to be able to go to things closer to home but i always end up traveling to wales or the north where there’s much more of a scene.

i did go to a fairly well known club night in brum where they gave out flyers for a free after party, we couldn’t go tho cos we had to get a taxi back.

if you do find anything out please could you keeep me informed

I live in birmingham and can’t say i’ve been to a free party in brum for a few years. They are around just a lot more low key. I’m gonna say much the same as monkey boy so i won’t repeat it. However there are a few clubs to check out like osmosis, toxic city, e:volve with lots of friendly faces to chat to that might point you in the right direction

@ bubblehead, where are those clubs then m8? and what sort of music is it? only really been digbeth, still sort of getting my bearings in brum. Also, is anyone heading to flashback in october?

A friend of mine organises it and is having its 10th birthday,but it hasn’t been around for the last few years. Rather commercial but will probably be a good laugh.

yea im definately going to flashback, dont like uproar or HTID though, rubbish uk hardcore and ‘anthem bashing’ oldskool; i like underground stuff.
