  • I remember Zammmo (particularly as for some bizzare reason Letitia Dean actually turned up at my high school to perform Just Say No – however the “class of 90/91” ended up being third in the Thames Valley Police drugs and juvenile crime league table – the only reason we didn’t score higher is because some of us were smart enough not to get caught too often 😉

The acid one is a bit after my time for watching Grange Hill – in my youth a kid would have got nicked for shoplifting/burglary long before they’d be able to afford a entire sheet of acid, let alone be careless enough to mislay one at high school. Plus you’d often be scoring it off hippies your parents age who were once teachers (the same lot who made you sing anti-racism songs in junior school, many of them quit in the 80s because of thatcho and bad industrial relations) but their morals (and common sense) would often stop them letting a teenager get a entire sheet of acid. I guess its from the late 90s/early 2000s (also until the 80s/90s kids actually rode bicycles without crash helmets, and made it to their 30s….)

the kid took a shed load of acid and was having a decent time til that teacher started being a prick. what that episode taught me is that acid is fun and not to be taken around wankers.

i wonder if Letitia Dean said no?

to be fair she probably did as its a very competitive environment and celebs what take drugs are always being grassed up to the media by their “friends” or even their dealers. by the 2000s most of the sound hippy teachers who tolerated a certain amount of drugs use had also left the profession and been replaced by younger but often more socially conservative ones.

We call it a high school and can leave at the age of 16, but I think over here should change and make kids study untill there 18

Another thing y os the convo off weed let’s get back on subject lol, smoke weed everyday
